What are "Service-Enabled" Applications?
Service-Enabled is a term that describes how RSSBus's solutions are universally accessible from other applications.
At RSSBus, we use the term Service-Enabled Apps to convey that our applications are built on top of highly extensible web services.
Why "Service-Enabled"?
- Accessibility - By building our apps on top of services, RSSBus is able to provide accessibility from any remote location, including work, home, on the road, etc while not compromising the security of the data.
- Integration - The RSSBus service engine enables connectivity from any process within your organization, allowing a fully seamless solution.
- Extensibility - RSSBus provides full extensibility to fit your integration needs. This means that RSSBus Apps can easily be customized to integrate into your business processes by simply adding/modifying service scripts that our apps expose.
How are Applications "Service-Enabled"?
At RSSBus, we start building solutions by first creating the services that make sense for integration to other data sources. Once these web services are created in a secure, reliable, and extensible manner, we begin to design an interface for the app to allow user interaction to manage the integration process.
This approach at building apps ensures that our "Services" are tested thoroughly, and are exhaustive in scope.
