Getting Started is Easy
The RSSBus SharePoint Web Part is easily installed on all versions of SharePoint: Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, SharePoint 2007, and SharePoint 2010. It also includes a SharePoint Solution Package (.wsp), that can be installed on SharePoint Online - enabling external JSON sources. RSSBus SharePoint Web Part includes:

Straightforward Data Visualization
Connecting to live Data from SharePoint portals is easy. Once RSSBus SharePoint Web Part is installed, SharePoint page authors simply configure their data connection and select one of the pre-defined data grids or charts to view this data within SharePoint portals.
Configure a Connection
The Data Source Configuration Window allows page authors to select a Data Provider from a list of RSSBus Data Providers installed on SharePoint. Once a provider is selected, the connection settings of the chosen provider can be configured and tested with the selected data source. By default, SharePoint lists are installed as the default data source, however users can install RSSBus ADO.NET Data Providers on SharePoint and they will become available to connect to.
From there, page author can select tables and returned columns and configure SQL-like queries to retrieve data.
Select A Template
Once a data source has been configured, it is simply a matter of selecting any of the pre-defined Web Part Templates that are included with RSSBus SharePoint Web Part to view the data. Page authors can select from dynamic charts or grids and add them to SharePoint portals without writing code.
For more fine-grained control, page authors can edit the Web Part Templates directly and extend SharePoint portals with all kinds of powerful visualizations.
Powerful Workflow Capabilities
In addition to data visualization, RSSBus SharePoint Web Part includes powerful workflow capabilities that allow administrators to automate data exchange with external systems through RSSBus Data Providers.
Pre-configured Workflow Templates
RSSBus SharePoint Web Part includes several Workflow templates that can be easily installed and configured that demonstrate simple data synchronization between SharePoint and external sources.
Standard SharePoint Workflows
RSSBus SharePoint Web Part extends SharePoint with new Workflow Activities. Through additional RSSBus Data Providers these Activities can enable uploading files to Google Docs, adding leads to Salesforce accounts, adjusting inventory through QuickBooks, and much more!
Automate or Run Manually
Once installed and configured the new Workflows can be configured to execute through standard SharePoint triggers, or called manually directly from SharePoint portals.
