RSSBus ADO.NET Provider for QuickBooks provides full support for integration into Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, 2008, and 2010. The RSSBus ADO.NET Provider for QuickBooks is registered as an ADO.NET provider with Visual Studio, allowing for integration with Server Explorer as well as ADO.NET data source configuration wizards.

Establishing a Connection from Server Explorer is the same as in other ADO.NET data providers such as the SQL Server provider. The full Provider Schema schema will be navigable by Using Server Explorer. For instance, column names of tables and views will be listed here.

The RSSBus ADO.NET Provider for QuickBooks supports QuickBooks Premier, Professional, Enterprise, Simple Start, and Online Edition. All QuickBooks editions are supported starting from 2002 to the most recent QuickBooks version. In addition, Canadian, New Zealand, Australian, and UK editions are supported starting from 2003. QuickBooks Point of Sale and the QuickBooks for Mac editions are not supported.
