Below is a list of minimum requirements for the RSSBus AppServer which runs all of the RSSBus Apps.

Windows

• XP Service Pack 3/2003 Service Pack 2 or higher
• .NET Framework 2.0 or higher
• 500 MB RAM required, 1+ GB recommended
• Adequate free disk space for transmission logging and writing received files

NOTE: Earlier versions of Windows may be used, but you must host the application in IIS. For Windows Server 2008, running the application as a service is only supported with the R2 update.

Unix / Mac

• Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.6 or higher
• Java Servlet 3.0 API or higher
• 500 MB RAM required, 1+ GB recommended
• Adequate free disk space for transmission logging and writing received files

Internet Connection

If you are using the AS2 Connector or another application that requires connecting with external systems, you may need the following:

• A persistent Internet connection
• An external IP address for the system running the RSSBus AppServer
• Firewall/Proxy access to communicate with the external system
