RELEASES THE FIRST PUBLIC BETA OF NEXT GENERATION, BRANDED "AS2 CONNECT [SE]", FULLY-INTEGRATED WITH THE RSSBUS INTEGRATION PLATFORM
Durham, NC, September 8th, 2011, RSSBus (www.rssbus.com) today officially launched the initial public beta of AS2 Connect [SE] (formerly /n software AS2 Connector), the first in a series of Service-Enabled Applications™ built on the RSSBus AppServer™ Platform. AS2 Connect [SE] introduces a host of new features, from support for multiple platforms: on-premise Windows, Linux, and Mac and off-premise clouds such as Windows Azure, Google App Engine, Amazon EC2, to unmatched power and flexibility in integrating with other systems and applications through RSSBus Simple Services™.
AS2 Connect [SE] is a Drummond Group™ Certified Application for sending and receiving documents via AS2, the leading standard for secure Internet EDI communications. AS2 Connect [SE] includes a full range of security and messaging features including S/MIME encryption, digital certificates, MDN-based receipts, and support for other popular secure messaging and file transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTP/S, FTP and OFTP.
The [SE] mark denotes a new breed of "Service-Enabled" solutions enabled by the RSSBus AppServer™ Platform. Almost every facet of these applications, from messaging to application management is exposed through easy to use Web Services providing unlimited extensibility and customization options. All services are automatically accessible through multiple simple standards-based interfaces such as SOAP, REST, HTML, RSS, ATOM, JSON, ODATA, EXCEL, enabling unmatched simplicity, flexibility, and power in integrating with other systems and applications on the same system, on different systems on the same network, or on the cloud and Web at large.
